Classic Army
Details
The Special Forces Combat Assault Rifle, or best known as the SCAR, is a modular rifle made by Fabrique Nationale. It's intended use was for the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) to meet the requirements of the SCAR competition. Having won the competition, the FN SCAR system is, as of late 2006, in final development and testing phases.
The SCAR will be made in two main variants; Light (SCAR-L (Mk 16)) and Heavy (SCAR-H (Mk 17)). This Classic Army FN SCAR is a convincing replica of the Light version. It appears to be true to form of the original from FN, this Classic Army AEG is a fantastic looking piece of kit.
The manufacturer specifies that it takes a Mini-type 8.4v battery in the buttstock, of which is a 4-position extendable one, with adjustable cheekpiece. The stock can also be folded away too. The main receiver has a realistic-looking charging handle, with RIS rails on it - ideal for mounting a scopes, foregrips, lasers etc.
The barrel length is 384mm and with a 6.08mm internal diameter. The magazine has a 300 round capacity, and the performance specified by Classic Army is from 85-105 m/s.
